Base pay range $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Net2Source (N2S) The CAD Draftsman will create, update, and revise sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software or manual drafting methods to meet project and customer requirements. The role involves preparing accurate 2D and 3D models, interpreting technical specifications, and supporting engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop and revise detailed 2D and 3D CAD models for power generation and renewable energy projects. Interpret and analyze customer requirements, technical data sheets, and supplier specifications to produce accurate design outputs. Prepare and maintain working drawings, construction drawings, and contract documentation in compliance with engineering standards. Support engineering, architectural, and technical services staff by providing accurate design documentation and assisting with formal drawing transmittals. Prepare bills of materials, schedules, and other supporting documentation for projects. Coordinate with engineering personnel to resolve design and construction issues efficiently. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and best practices in the energy sector. Apply knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering concepts, and terminology in all deliverables. Qualifications Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering discipline. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent). Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation. Familiarity with drafting standards, symbols, and documentation practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Prior experience in the energy industry, especially power generation or renewable energy projects, is preferred.
