Job Summary/Basic Function

The photographers report directly to the Photo Editor and take photos to be featured in The Sycamore yearbook. They are responsible for collecting personal data and maintaining a database of all human subjects of the photographs taken.

Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Photographer are: 1. Submit photos in a timely manner depending on deadlines. 2. Work with the Content Writers and Layout Designers. 3. Attend activities from beginning to end for the stories being written about. 4. Cooperate with all Yearbook staff to generate ideas for the content and layout of the Yearbook. 5. Attend all weekly Yearbook meetings. 6. Be familiar with and utilize various photographing techniques to ensure quality photos. 7. Ensure that, for all persons photographed, permission slips are signed and all relevant information is gathered and submitted to Photo Editor/server. 8. Submit hours to department editor in a timely manner.
