What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Prepare federal, state, and city income tax returns
Calculate consolidated book-tax differences for tax compliance
Provide support for various tax compliance and audits, including reconciliations
Respond to all types of tax notices
Assist with various tax projects, including tax research and forecasting
What is Required (Qualifications):
3 years of recent corporate tax or public accounting experience
Experience with tax preparation software, preferably CorpTax
Experience with tax research software, preferably RIA or CCH
Minimum of 1-3 years of corporate tax, public accounting, or related experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Familiarity with state apportionment and fixed asset accounting
Additional certifications in tax law or accounting
Experience working in a large corporate environment
Knowledge of sustainability practices in accounting and finance
