Job Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information Performs quality checks of benefits‑related data entries Ensures regulatory and administrative compliance with federal and state regulations, including but not limited to ERISA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, USERRA, and ACA Assists in monitoring ACA eligibility Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries Partners with third party administrator for leave of absences including ADA Accommodations, Family Medical Leave, and Short Term Disability Communicates leave approvals/denials with General Managers and Regional HR Directors Calculates STD pay and provides to payroll on a bi‑weekly basis Assists with the open enrollment process Assists with annual 401(k) audit Other duties as assigned Education and Experience

Minimum of a High School Education Two years' experience in HR and/or benefits administration Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software * The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
