Job Description
Own and manage all phases of client tax engagements from planning through final review
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and oversee billing and collections
Review and sign tax returns while ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance
Lead, coach, and mentor tax staff while monitoring performance and development
Plan and manage team workloads to drive efficiency and profitability
Contribute to department strategy, process improvement, and firm initiatives
Participate in business development and expansion of client relationships
Stay current on tax law changes and regulatory developments
Take ownership of a tax specialization or internal committee focus area
Support firm wide projects and leadership initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting required
CPA or EA required
5+ years of public accounting tax experience
Strong experience reviewing complex tax returns
Background with S Corps, C Corps, partnerships, LLCs, high net worth individuals, multi state and consolidated returns
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple engagements simultaneously
