We’re a lean, sharp, and collaborative team looking for an experienced
Estimator
who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and being part of a company that’s growing fast—and thoughtfully. If you like wearing more than one hat, working directly with clients, and having a real voice at the table, this role is for you.
SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Estimator will lead CoreBuilt’s estimating efforts from preconstruction through proposal submission, with opportunities to support project management activities as workload and project phases dictate. This position involves direct client interaction, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, value engineering, and execution support.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Coordinate and attend site visits with prospective clients to capture field measurements, scope, and site conditions Develop subcontractor bid lists and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) Review, analyze, and qualify subcontractor proposals for accuracy and completeness Prepare client proposals, including detailed cost estimates, scopes of work, and supporting documentation or sketches Perform material and labor take-offs for self-performed trades (painting, carpentry, concrete) Lead estimating efforts including subcontractor outreach, scope development, budgeting, and value engineering Support project execution as needed throughout the project lifecycle Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree preferred. 7 years of construction-related experience. Proficiency in construction software including Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and MS Office. Strong verbal and written communication skills. xsgimln Ability to read and interpret blueprints for all trades.
BENEFITS: Salary:
