We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior structural and miscellaneous steel estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and drawings, performing takeoffs, and preparing estimates for structural steel projects. The estimator will work closely with the project team to ensure that accurate and competitive bids are submitted. Responsibilities: Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work Perform material takeoffs for structural and miscellaneous steel projects Develop cost estimates based on material and labor costs Review subcontractor and material quotes and incorporate into the estimate Work closely with project team to ensure accurate and competitive bids Prepare and submit proposals to clients Attend project meetings as required Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Structural Steel Estimator Experience with estimating software xsgimln (e.g. Bluebeam) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret project specifications and drawings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures
