Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on technical specifications. Create accurate and comprehensive technical drawings using CAD software. Utilize software such as AutoCad to create accurate designs. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project requirements. Revise drawings based on feedback from project managers and/or customers with updated changes in project scope. Analyze project plans and specifications to determine material and labor costs. Ensure all estimates and drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. Update and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Provide support during project bidding and negotiation processes. Identify potential risks and propose cost-effective solutions. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Proven experience as an Estimator Drafter or similar role. Proficiency in CAD software and other drafting tools is essential. Experience in architectural design and the ability to create detailed schematics. Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and costs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates and drawings. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Working with stone is a plus.
