Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.

Position Summary This position acts as a primary contact in fulfilling the graphic design and publication needs for all Auxiliary Services Division departments. While adhering to UGA brand and style guides, this role designs creative work including advertisements, social media graphics, email graphics, digital sign graphics, online and print-ready brochures and flyers, large-format projects and other publications.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Education and/or experience in art and graphics.

Full knowledge and proficiency of industry-leading software and hardware for modern design projects, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, MailChimp; Macintosh OS, file servers, FTP sites, scanners, printers, and Windows OS.

Excellent graphic design and typography skills.

Strong creative and critical thinking skills.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Knowledge of responsive and mobile web/email design.

Coordination of complex design jobs from concept to publication; one- to full-color offset and digital printing.

Excellent photography skills.

Duties/Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of creative graphic design deliverables including digital graphics, online and print brochures and flyers, advertisements, banners and other Auxiliary Services publications using various production techniques.

Contribute creatively to the development of promotional plans and creation of advertisements, brochures, flyers, presentations, websites, and other publications with strong marketing impact.

Collaborate with clients to produce deliverables on time. Manage and respond to graphic design tickets in Team Dynamics. Meet deadlines established on marketing calendar. Manage printing, production, and delivery of all Auxiliary materials.

Store artworks and photo files in compliance with designated file management system. Manage print inventory.

Conduct photoshoots for images to be used in marketing materials.
