About the Role

We are seeking a

Senior Marketing Manager

to join our high-impact marketing team. In this strategic role, you will lead and optimize an established portfolio of paperboard products while partnering closely with the sales organization to support and achieve growth and profitability goals. You will advance our Paper Sales strategy, identify segment-level opportunities, and lead initiatives that maximize organic growth, profitability, operational efficiency and customer value. Your primary focus will include the Commercial Print, Food Service, and Specialty Paperboard businesses, while supporting internal packaging teams. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in strategic marketing within the paper or packaging industry. Responsibilities:

Develop and execute growth initiatives and demand-generation strategies in collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Strategy, Operations, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to meet sales goals. Develop and maintain market segmentation frameworks to identify key customer groups, prioritize opportunities, and tailor strategies that drive growth. Track and analyze share-of-wallet data to guide strategic decisions. Create clear, quantified value propositions and differentiated positioning strategies for assigned segments and product portfolio areas. Commercial Enablement

Design and implement commercial enablement tools, training programs, trade show exhibits, and marketing campaigns that support strategic selling and drive achievement of sales goals. Partner with Product Management, R&D, Operations, and Sales to identify new product opportunities and bring innovative solutions to market. Fuel the innovation process with competitive insights and evolving customer needs. Market Insights & Analysis

Leverage market intelligence, competitive data, and voice-of-customer feedback to identify and develop strategies for new and existing business opportunities. Partner with Market Intelligence to conduct research and generate actionable insights that strengthen customer engagement and guide portfolio strategies. Monitor supply, demand, capacity, and pricing dynamics to assess market conditions and provide recommendations to leadership. Educate broader team on market trends and implications to inform sales strategies and decision-making. Develop comprehensive business cases including market sizing, competitive analysis, operational considerations, financial modeling, and growth projections to support strategic decisions. Serve as the commercial product manager for an established portfolio of paperboard products, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. Collaborate closely with Technical Product Management and cross-functional teams to address product performance, support customer needs, and drive portfolio optimization. Drive alignment across cross-functional teams, track progress, address challenges, and maintain a strong bias for action to achieve speed and efficiency in executing the Paper Sales agenda. Qualifications

Highly capable in each of the following dimensions: flexibility, adaptability, curiosity, resourcefulness, analytical thinking/problem-solving, proactivity, collaboration, and technological savvy. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing, brand management, product marketing, or related roles. Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences. Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and project management. Passion for identifying and building strategies that solve customer and business challenges. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders. Detail-oriented, resourceful, and adaptable with a strong bias for action. Occasional travel required for meetings, conferences, and team collaboration.
