Key roles and responsibilities
Lead the creation of all marketing content in collaboration with Commercial, Data/Product, Research, and Consulting teams. Ensure maximum distribution of content via owned and earned channels. Develop and leverage content and manage all elements of the marketing mix to maintain and expand thought leadership and generate demand for and enable sales of the Arbo offering. Provide input into development of annual marketing plan and budget. Collaborate with the Research team to ensure marketing collateral can source content from ArView research products. Content Creation, Management, and Distribution
Continuously grow the content library with case studies, blogs, testimonials, landing pages, sales enablement decks, etc. Create customer success stories and testimonials to support sales conversations. Create and/or supervise the creation of all content ensuring adherence to brand standards. Lead content creation on LinkedIn by posting content 2-4x per week that blends personal and Arbo brand voices and sets the example for all Arbonauts. Own all aspects of the webpage content management (WordPress). Nurture existing and create new media relationships to ensure continuous earned media placements. Lead a company initiative to produce video, podcast, or other multimedia content to diversify formats as relevant for Arbo audiences and distribution channels. Track and report on content performance metrics including traffic, engagement, and conversion rates. Conduct regular content audits to identify optimization opportunities and content gaps. Manage content calendar and editorial workflow.
Arbo content is developed as product under the ArView research line-of-business and as marketing collateral and is distributed across the marketing mix via owned, earned and paid media channels including Linkedin, brand website, blog, and in-person events. This role offers the opportunity to leverage the strong brand of an established growth company to make an immediate impact. An ideal candidate will possess an enterprising “owner” mindset along with experience delivering content — concepting, authoring (e.g. re-packaging, editing, writing net-new) and publishing — in a business-to-business or similar environment. The CMM will report to the VP of Marketing and Customer Operations to execute the annual marketing plan and associated budget and will be eligible to supervise future marketing staff. This role will be a member of the Commercial team and closely collaborate with the product and research teams to source content and voice-of-customer to continuously understand and communicate the Arbo value proposition. Perceptive, empathetic, clear, and persuasive communicator — written and verbal. Demonstrated command of the Linkedin social media platform, to drive brand authority and communicate value propositions with personality (organic). Effective cross-functional project manager able to organize work at the project and task level and influence its completion across multiple contributors with speed and high quality. Familiar with marketing technologies, such as CRM, marketing automation, etc. (HubSpot and WordPress experience a plus). Proactive, entrepreneurial, and creative; comfortable developing structures and process from scratch. Experience:
3+ years experience across various roles and marketing functions (such as content management, brand management, marketing operations). Hands-on experience with, and current knowledge (pursues best practice) of various marketing disciplines to include digital advertising, paid social, event marketing, partnership marketing, sponsored/influencer content, and media relations. Has worked in corporate organizations or served them as clients/customers/constituents. Thrives in a small business environment. Able to speak to execution capability for some of the following:
Linkedin creating channel-appropriate, on-brand creative content B2B editorial support content strategy, planning, and distribution optimizing owned digital media email marketing segmentation and persona development podcast and video influencing work product from cross-functional teammates and/or third parties
Salary and benefits
Total cash compensation target range: $110,000 – $150,000.
