Position Summary The Vaccine Account Manager (VAM) owns the B2B customer relationship in the largest and most complex healthcare delivery networks. The role requires building relationships with complex healthcare organizations, navigating formulary processes, ensuring optimal patient access to vaccines, and coordinating with field teams to achieve sales growth.

Responsibilities

Strategic Account Development and Management: Build partnerships with large-organized customers, identify objectives, develop customer-specific business plans, navigate complex structures, work with public sector decision makers, manage key accounts through business reviews.

Sales Excellence & Revenue Generation: Achieve or exceed targets, support contracting with specialists, execute consultative selling processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate organizational support, support vaccination programs, partner with internal teams, collaborate with Market Access.

Clinical & Scientific Expertise: Provide evidence-based education on vaccine efficacy, stay current with guidelines.

Market Intelligence & Analysis: Analyze performance, market trends, competitive activities.

Administrative & Compliance: Maintain records in CRM, complete required training, ensure compliance with regulations.

Success Metrics & Key Performance Indicators

Annual Sales Target achievement at the customer and territory level.

Stakeholder Mapping Completion and Decision‑Maker access in assigned accounts.

Other metrics such as IZ rates, market shares, contract performance, and field coverage as defined.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.

Previous vaccines sales experience.

Minimum 5 years in Pharmaceutical Sales, Marketing, Payer, or Business Development (combined).

Valid driver's license.

Travel required: Up to 40%.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in business, public health, hospital administration or similar a plus.

Deep knowledge of contracting in the healthcare industry.

Expertise in the vaccines marketplace, GSK competitive portfolios and customers.

Deep knowledge of the Health Systems business model, stakeholder roles and decision‑making processes.

Experience calling on C/D level within large, complex healthcare delivery networks.

Experience with lateral leadership in a highly matrixed organization.

Ability to translate strategy to local business plans.

Impact and influence with other Sales leaders to mobilize action plans.

Location This is a field-based position. The percentage of travel will be determined by customer location in relation to the geographic location of the successful candidate.
