Job Description The FIT & Wholesale Sales Manager will oversee all sales and business development activities for Wholesale, Tour Operator segment and supporting intermediaries in the Business to Business (B2B) re-distribution market. This role will develop strategies for accounts in these segments, sales activities across these channels in support of business goals for properties and the organization at large. This person acts as the primary point of contact and serves as the acknowledged subject matter expert in the Wholesale and FIT market segment. This person will represent third party perspectives and collaborate across the organization as key priorities are defined.

Responsibilities Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with travel service providers in the Wholesale FIT market

Responsible for achieving sales goals and performance optimization of customer revenue, room night and share of spend targets

Handles sales reports, tracks revenue, and manages all sales administrative tasks as needed

Acts as an advisor in the revenue planning process for key hotels and assists the team with specific tasks related to planning for the wholesale market segment.

Identifies new FIT and Tour Group opportunities for Omni Hotels & Resorts

Serves as main point of contact for accounts by ensuring that service delivery standards and issues are resolved in a timely manner

Actively participates and represents the brand in industry organizations and events to enhance brand visibility and strengthen relationships

Works closely with property teams to establish wholesale processes and procedures with Operations (e.g. Front Desk, Accounting) and provide coaching on the specific booking needs for motorcoach tour groups and ad hoc international groups

Maintains relationships with key travel programs already established at the enterprise level for the leisure segment.

Works with revenue management team to monitor rate parity to identify violations by partners and/or their affiliates and take corrective action to protect rate integrity and brand standards

Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications

3 to 5 years plus years progressive, related experience in the Tour & Travel FIT and Wholesale market.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Management, Hospitality or other relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

Knowledge of complex Re-Distribution Wholesale market

Proven ability to develop and manage strategic partnerships and negotiate effectively.

Demonstrated project management experience in organizing and planning

Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, inform, and collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, senior leadership and team members

Demonstrated knowledge of hotels, hotel sales and marketing, and business planning

Ability to travel required, as needed to facilitate business objectives
