Your Role as a Music Education Sales Consultant

In this pivotal role, you will cultivate, strengthen, and establish significant relationships with educators, administrators, and key community influencers. Your mission? Build a strong network that advocates for music education at every level. Your influence will be immediate and lasting, as you deliver outstanding service and customized solutions that address educators' needs for rental, repair, and product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop deep, meaningful relationships with educators and administrators in your territory, providing exceptional customer service tailored to their needs.
• Spot growth opportunities within your market and create strategic plans to expand our reach, fostering trust and driving sales.
• Engage regularly with educators through in-person visits and virtual meetings, remaining attentive to their evolving needs and participating in relevant conferences.
• Manage daily and long-term tasks across your portfolio to sustain and enhance sales, delivering insights that improve both B2B and B2B2C experiences.
• Promote our Be Part of the Music initiative to increase awareness and access to invaluable educational resources.
• Collaborate with educators to develop strategies that enhance student participation and retention in music programs.
• Provide dedicated support for recruitment, demonstrations, testing and fittings, and rental events, ensuring educators have the tools they need to build successful music programs.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, Music Business, Jazz Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven knowledge of Band and/or Orchestral instruments; prior experience is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for music education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Able to travel; must have a valid driver's license and automotive insurance.
• Capacity to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible scheduling availability, including evenings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with educators and/or in the music industry.
• Fluency in Spanish to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking individuals.

Compensation: Annual pay range of $40,000 - $55,000 plus commission, dependent on location, background, and experience. This role includes a company vehicle and opportunities for Gig Leave.
