Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Reports to: VP of Communityand Corporate Engagement

Position Summary TheMarketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for advancingPeninsula Agency on Aging’s (PAA) visibility, credibility, and communityengagement through clear, consistent, and mission-centered communications.This position leads day-to-day marketing and communications execution,ensuring that PAA’s brand, messaging, and storytelling effectively supportphilanthropy, partnerships, programs, and organizational reputation. Working in close collaboration with theVice President of Community & Corporate Engagement and the Director ofPhilanthropy, the Marketing & Communications Coordinator plays a key rolein translating PAA’s impact into compelling communications that build trust,strengthen relationships, and support mission advancement.
General Purpose TheMarketing & Communications Coordinator manages and implements PAA’smarketing, communications, and brand strategies across digital, print, andcommunity-facing platforms. This role ensures consistent, age-positivemessaging that aligns with organizational priorities, supports fundraisingand partnership efforts, and enhances public understanding of PAA’s missionand impact.
Position Responsibilities
· Implement PAA’s marketing and communicationsstrategy in alignment with organizational goals and Mission Advancementpriorities.
· Manage day-to-day communications acrossdigital platforms, including website content, email campaigns, social media,and media outreach.
· Develop and maintain consistent organizationalmessaging, brand standards, and visual identity.
· Produce storytelling content, impactmaterials, and marketing collateral to support philanthropy, partnerships,programs, and community engagement.
· Collaborate with invisector of Philanthropyto support donor communications, campaigns, stewardship materials, andfundraising initiatives.
· Support the Vice President of Community &Corporate Engagement with communications related to partnerships, publicvisibility, and external engagement.
· Coordinate with program staff to elevatecommunity impact, services, and outcomes through effective communications.
· Track, analyze, and report on marketing andengagement metrics to inform strategy and improve effectiveness.
· Maintain an editorial calendar to ensuretimely, coordinated, and consistent communications.
· Coordinate, support, and.starts public-facingevents such as community fairs, outreach events, presentations, and partneractivities to increase awareness of PAA’s services and mission.
· Support media relations, presentations, andother public-facing materials as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’sdegree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, orequivalent professional experience.
· Demonstratedexperience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably in anonprofit or mission-driven environment.
· Strongwritten and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translatecomplex information into clear, engaging messages.
· Experiencemanaging digital platforms, including websites, email marketing, and socialmedia.
· Abilityto manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaborativelyacross departments.
· Experienceusing data, analytics, or engagement metrics to assess and improvecommunications efforts لـ.
