The Community Member Relations Director expands the Y’s reach by developing partnerships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations that invest in their employees’ well‑being through Workplace Wellness memberships and programs. This role blends hospitality and sales by creating a welcoming first impression for potential partners while strategically growing membership through meaningful community relationships. This position requires an individual who enjoys connecting with others, is motivated by achieving goals, and is committed to advancing the Y’s mission of strengthening communities through healthy living and belonging. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in relationship management, outside sales, or community engagement required. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. High level of professionalism, initiative, and organization. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet goals, and track progress. Demonstrates Y values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
