ADdress Back Of House Associate (Part-Time)
The main purpose of the ADdress Back of House Associate (part-time) is to assist in the accurate receipt of goods from vendors into the distribution center and distribute or set up all product in a timely manner to various locations throughout the Entertainment Retail Center (ERC). Primary responsibilities include: Ensuring accuracy in completion of all warehouse receiving documents for entry into the computer system. Communicating and verifying all discrepancies. Opening boxes, separating product by location, counting product, and filling out accompanying paperwork needed for second stage receiving and organizing product according to its required destination. Applying price tags to all product. Binning product in proper locations in the distribution center. Rotating stock to make sure the oldest product is used first in order to prevent expiration of the items. Re-organizing existing items in the warehouse to make room for new items and large shipments or to prioritize the items according to need. Performing inventories and cycle counts. Quality control (checking for damaged product). Delivering product to the correct locations throughout the ERC. Adhering to all safety policies to ensure personal safety, the safety of guests and fellow coworkers. Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse. Ability to understand a planogram for design layout. Other duties as assigned. Desired qualifications include: At least 18 years of age. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred. Basic computer skills required. Must be extremely organized. Must possess good math/counting skills. Must have outstanding written/verbal communication. Must have retail/merchandising knowledge. Physical job requirements include: Ability to climb ladders up to 12 feet high. Frequent stooping, crouching. Constant reaching at or below shoulder level. Very frequently reaching above shoulder level. Almost constant using fine motor skills. Almost constant pushing/pulling.
