Overview Join us as a AVP or VP (depending on level), Contracts Drafter, where you'll play a key role in shaping reinsurance agreements that make a real difference. You'll work with a collaborative team, ensuring contracts meet industry standards and client needs. This is your chance to combine your expertise in contract drafting with a passion for teamwork and innovation.
How you'll make an impact In this role, you'll draft and review reinsurance contracts, endorsements, and other key documents. You'll collaborate with broker teams to address contract issues and support negotiations with clients and markets. Your work will ensure contracts are executed on time and meet all regulatory and industry requirements. You'll also mentor less experienced colleagues, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow.

Research regulations and industry trends to keep contracts compliant.
Maintain organized contract and correspondence files.
Use document tracking systems to record contract statuses and details.
Support strategic objectives set by the Executive Management Team.
About You Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:
A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in contract drafting within reinsurance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The ability to analyze and interpret reinsurance contracts across various lines and programs.
A knack for explaining complex issues in simple terms and responding to questions from clients and colleagues.
Experience with document management systems is a plus.
A collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring others.

Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
