Administrative Assistant Senior

You will be the Administrative Assistant Senior for the Missiles and Fire Control Javelin organization. Our team is responsible for providing exceptional support to the organization and staff. As the Administrative Assistant Senior, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior leaders and staff, exercising discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing a wide range of administrative duties and office management tasks. Your responsibilities will include: Provide administrative support to senior leaders and staff, exercising discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information Create and edit presentations, documents, memos, and reports, utilizing excellent writing and communication skills to produce high-quality materials Coordinate travel arrangements, reconcile expense reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings and appointments, and organize VIP visits and special events with precision and attention to detail Develop and maintain effective correspondence management systems, ensuring timely and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented individual to join our team. Must be a U.S. citizen - this position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications: Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance Must be willing to be on-site full-time Must have prior experience supporting senior level management (i.e. Senior Managers, Directors, and/or Executive leaders) Proven experience applying critical thinking to tasks and calendar prioritization Experience using mobile technology to handle work issues outside of normal work hours Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adjust to changing priorities Ability to maintain confidentiality, and appropriate sensitivity to all issues Outstanding interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of management Experience in travel booking and expense reconciliation (preferred concur experience) Experience managing office supply procurement Ability to work well independently, but function within a team environment Organizational skills Attention to details Desired Skills: 3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills Experience with Confluence and Tableau Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
