Salary Range $115,000.00/yr – $135,000.00/yr
Job Description As the Senior Product Developer at Lundberg, you will play a strategic role in leading the end-to-end development of sustainable, consumer-driven products—from concept through commercialization. This role combines creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration to ensure product excellence and alignment with Lundberg’s mission and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage R&D projects from feasibility and ingredient sourcing through launch and post-launch review.
Develop product specifications, testing protocols, and documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
Partner cross-functionally and with external suppliers and copackers to drive innovation.
Lead cost‑saving initiatives through formulation and process optimization.
Solve technical challenges in product performance, manufacturing, and scaling.
Support continuous improvement in product quality, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
Adhere to all quality, safety, and regulatory standards, including GMP and HACCP.
Foster a culture of safety and continuous learning within R&D and production teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Process Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in product and process development within consumer packaged goods.
Expertise in clean‑label food innovation; rice, snack, or retort experience preferred.
Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Genesis, ERP systems, and SharePoint a plus.
Collaborative, resourceful, and driven to deliver results through teamwork.
