I am seeking a
Package Designer
to transform brand visions into tangible retail experiences. In this role, you will develop innovative packaging and merchandising solutions by bridging the gap between established Visual Identity System (VIS) toolkits and the specific needs of our clients and customers. You aren't just creating boxes; you are building brand touchpoints. Using a combination of creative expertise, market research, and strategic logic, you will develop designs that stand out on the shelf while remaining anchored in brand standards. You will work within a high-performing creative team, ensuring that every project is delivered with precision, accuracy, and efficiency our global brand demands.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement visual elements or creative concepts for project deliverables.
Translate existing and emerging concepts into actual packaging and/or merchandising designs.
Integrate images, graphics, text, etc. with a great sense of aesthetics while executing against the brand and/or product vision and the creative brief.
Create presentations, mood boards, and proposals based upon project scope.
Support the Strategic Design team with technical problem solving in the development of design elements and layouts.
Use competitive set understanding to stimulate creative problem solving.
Conduct marketplace research to stay up-to-date on market trends, emerging brands, and new design developments.
Recommend improvements in creative design concept tools, processes and/or assigned tasks to management.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to provide a professional portfolio upon request.
Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications.
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization as well as internal and external clients.
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.
Self‑motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting; naturally curious.
Proficient at developing unconventional solutions.
Strong desire to understand before attempting to solve problems.
Ability to think in three dimensions.
Knowledge of label print methods.
