Title Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Commercial Partnerships Manager (Hybrid)
The Role The ESG Commercial Partnerships Manager will support customer partnerships and manage day-to-day interactions related to the ESG Commercial Partnerships program. This role reports to the ESG Leader and will be responsible for advancing and executing the Ardent Mills ESG Commercial Partnerships and relationship building with key internal and external customers and third‑party program providers. The ESG Commercial Partnerships Manager will work directly with program participants to advance on‑farm continuous improvement initiatives focused on greenhouse gas reduction, soil health, and water quality.
Key Accountabilities
Manage execution of and planning for Ardent Mills Regenerative Agriculture partnerships and other commercial partnership opportunities to drive profitable growth and de‑risk existing program.
Handle contracting processes on vendor and customer sides in collaboration with Legal.
Hold regular meetings with vendors and customers to ensure program success and report status updates to ESG leadership.
Serve as key contact for Sales and support presentation to customers on Ardent Mills Commercial and Regen Programs, offering expertise and education as they seek to partner further with AM.
Manage budget, provide regular updates, and assist in annual budgeting process based on forecasted customer needs.
Develop and implement on‑farm Ardent Mills Regenerative Agriculture programs through strong vendor partnerships that support farming practices directly serving customer goals and ambitions.
Collaborate with farmers, suppliers, and customers to drive sustainability goals, objectives, and strategies; create and implement plans for related projects.
Identify grower partners for the Ardent Mills Regenerative Agriculture program and directly engage with growers to secure enrollment.
Plan yearly grower events, trainings, and customer visits.
Collect necessary data to deliver customer presentations and reports communicating our sustainability initiative, KPIs, and metrics; highlight effectiveness and environmental impact.
Assist customers and vendors in completing any external marketing related to our programs.
Partner with Communications/Marketing to generate content for marketing resources, including brochures or online media, to promote sustainability practices, procedures, and objectives.
Joint ownership with Sr Manager representing Ardent Mills across the industry by facilitating and fostering existing and new relationships with supply chain partners, 3rd‑party project providers, local and state agencies across the sustainability and agriculture sector and serve as external SME in industry roundtables, speaking engagements or other events to advance Ardent Mills brand and reputation as a leader in this space.
Resident expert on GHG Scope 3 accounting methodologies, reductions, and removals protocols and novel approaches to drive progress.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Business, Agronomy, Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainability, or related field.
Minimum five years of experience in agriculture or food processing including sustainability.
Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse internal and external customer base.
Demonstrated skill in analysis, fiscal-minded organization, planning, listening, and problem‑solving.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities and the ability to make the complex simple for a variety of audiences.
Experience using software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerApps.
Other Considerations
Ability to travel up to 20%.

Competitive Compensation We provide market‑driven base pay based on skills, abilities, and level of experience. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on the candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $102,600.00 – $136,896.10, with additional earning potential commensurate with experience. All team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. The targeted bonus plan for this role is 15% annual (MIP).
