Overview
Marra Forni is seeking a Marketing Specialist |Graphic Designer for its Beltsville facility which specializes in manufacturing brick ovens. The Marketing Specialist |Graphic Designer works collaboratively with the Marketing Team to identify goals, conceptualizing and producing design solutions that help drive traffic through social media, website, blog, and email marketing platforms. This individual must be passionate about digital and printed design, and aware of current trends. He/she should be able to work effectively within an established brand identity system while pushing the brand direction forward. Daily projects include graphic design for social media, print design, email marketing, and collaborating with others on larger projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Duties/Responsibilities
Conceptualizes and produces design solutions including, but not limited to, campaigns, collateral materials, posters, brochures, invitations, environmental graphics, web elements, giveaways, magazine ads, infographics, and motion graphics.
Writes content for social media posts, blogs, articles, and press releases as needed.
Assists with maintaining the company’s blog.
Assists with email campaigns.
Upholds brand standards, posting guidelines, and marketing procedures.
Coordinates inventory for shows such as shipping materials, collateral materials, and more.
Takes and edits pictures and videos of various products and company events.
Maintains all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Researches current marketing trends and generate ideas to improve the company’s marketing efforts.
Assists with the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to increase social media and website traffic on time.
Manages graphic design projects to meet marketing deadlines.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong PowerPoint, and MS Office 365 skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible and collaborative work style.
Able to work at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
1+ years of marketing experience.
3+ years of experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
1+ years After Effects, Canva, and other content creation apps are a plus.
