F&F Properties is hiring a Resident Manager to live onsite at one of our properties in Clairemont and support day-to-day leasing and resident operations for two communities. You’ll own the resident-facing workflow from inquiry → tour → application → move-in, support resident experience through clear communication and follow-through, coordinate maintenance access/work orders, post notices, and manage move-outs.
Responsibilities
Leasing + tours: respond to leads, schedule/show units, support applications, coordinate lease signing
Move-ins: schedule move-ins, complete file requirements, orientations, keys, documentation
Resident experience: respond to routine questions/concerns, set expectations, escalate when needed
Maintenance coordination: create/track work orders in AppFolio, schedule access, follow up, close the loop
Move-outs: notices, pre-move-out and move-out inspections, turn coordination
Admin accuracy: clean notes, files, logs, and tracker updates; weekly updates to Senior Property Manager
Property standards: routine walks, identify issues early, support community rules and safety
Qualifications
Must be able to live onsite (Clairemont) and be able to pay 2/3 market rent monthly (1/3 discount provided)
2+ years in multifamily leasing / resident services / property ops (or equivalent customer-facing experience)
Working knowledge of Fair Housing
Strong organization, urgency, and follow-through across two properties
Confident communicator (phone/email/text) and calm in difficult conversations
Comfortable with Microsoft Office; able to learn systems quickly (AppFolio a plus)
Reliable judgment and confidentiality
Pay range is $26 - $27 per hour.

On-site Resident Managers receive 1/3 off market rent.
