Product & Content Marketing Manager (First Marketing Hire) Remote (NYC Preferred), 25% travel to events

Company Overview We are a fast-growing startup transforming revenue management software for the multifamily housing industry. Our AI-powered platform leverages data analytics and machine learning to optimize rental pricing, improve occupancy rates, and create revenue opportunities for property owners and managers. We are looking for our first marketing hire to scale our go to market efforts. Rentana’s founding team has built four multi-billion dollar software companies and two proptech companies sold to Appfolio (Dynasty) and Airbnb (Urbandoor).

Job Summary We are looking for our

first marketing hire , a creative, organized, and strategic Product & Content Marketing Manager. This role is for someone who thrives in a builder environment: rolling up their sleeves, managing external partners and advisors, and eventually bringing resources in-house as the team scales.

You’ll shape how we tell our story, grow our audience, and bring new product launches to market through great content, digital campaigns, events, and PR. If you’re a creative storyteller who loves pairing ideas with measurable impact, this is your chance to build the voice and marketing engine of a fast-growing company.

Role Overview

Be the

foundational marketing leader

Shape the brand, voice, and growth strategy from the ground up.

Work closely with leadership, product, and sales to define our market presence.

Key Responsibilities Product Marketing & Go-to-Market

Stay deeply connected with the

product team

to understand roadmap, new features, and launches.

Translate product capabilities into

customer-facing narratives

that resonate with prospects and users.

Develop

go-to-market strategies

for new product releases, coordinating across teams.

Create and refine

sales enablement content

(pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, demo scripts) to support the sales team.

Content & Thought Leadership

Develop and own a repeatable

content strategy

and

editorial calendar

across blog, LinkedIn, and newsletters.

Create and oversee

thought leadership content , including premium reports, case studies, and whitepapers.

Manage a

monthly webinar series : end-to-end production, promotion, and follow-up engagement.

Launch and maintain a

thought leadership newsletter , ensuring consistent voice and value.

Social & Digital Presence

Own Rentana’s

LinkedIn presence . Plan, write, schedule, and track performance of regular posts that drive engagement and thought leadership.

Build a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels.

Keep the

website updated

with fresh content, optimized messaging, and performance tracking.

Events & Brand

Support

conference and event presence with Sales Team , including promotion, booth coordination, and amplification.

Support

gifting and brand initiatives , ensuring consistent brand expression.

Collaborate with design to refine and maintain brand identity.

Project Management

Manage external marketing advisors, agencies, and freelancers.

Build processes and infrastructure to

bring key resources in-house

over time.

Act as the

marketing lead across the company , partnering with product, sales, and leadership.

Qualifications About You:

5+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, content marketing, or related roles.

Nice to have: Prior proptech and or multifamily experience.

You’re a storyteller at heart who can translate data and product features into engaging content.

You’re hyper organized and can manage across internal and external teams.

You love taking ideas from concept to launch - whether that’s a webinar, a case study, or a campaign.

You’re motivated by results, not just activity.

Nice to Have

Experience in

real estate

or

property technology

is a plus.
