Overview Join a dynamic team as a Podcast Producer, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a flagship interview-based podcast focused on the emotional and psychological aspects of financial decision-making. This position is ideal for someone passionate about crafting thoughtful conversations, managing end-to-end production workflows, and upholding high editorial standards. You will collaborate closely with the host and team to guide episodes from concept through distribution, ensuring each release is accurate, clear, and resonates with listeners. The podcast features narrative interviews that explore real-life financial situations, emphasizing editorial clarity and emotional nuance to foster connection and understanding among listeners. This is a fully remote, part-time contract role.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full production cycle, from episode planning to final distribution

Conduct guest research and manage outreach to secure high-quality interviewees

Support live and recorded sessions, ensuring technical and editorial standards are met

Develop scripts and prepare interview materials in collaboration with the host

Fact-check content and review edits for accuracy and clarity

Approve final audio and video edits prior to release

Coordinate production schedules, timelines, and logistics to meet deadlines

Prepare promotional materials and support marketing efforts for each episode

Maintain organized documentation and communication across the production team

Skills And Requirements

Demonstrated experience in podcast production or audio storytelling, preferably in an interview or narrative format

Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and clarity

Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

Proficiency with audio and video editing workflows and relevant software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or similar)

Ability to conduct research and prepare compelling scripts and interview questions

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment

Experience with guest outreach, scheduling, and production logistics

Familiarity with financial topics or a willingness to learn about the emotional aspects of money is a plus

Availability for part-time, contract work with flexible hours
