This is your opportunity to grow professionally in a dynamic, global environment, surrounded by forward-thinking peers.The Director, Tech Strategy & Operations is a pivotal member of the Digital & Technology team, responsible for independently managing the operational and capital budgets, processing and tracking vendor agreements and contracts, and overseeing department-wide administrative functions. This role acts as a strategic partner to the Chief Digital & Technology Officer and other senior leaders, driving cross-functional initiatives, facilitating executive decision-making, and ensuring alignment of departmental priorities and firm objectives as well as ensuring seamless operations, compliance, and effective project delivery. The role serves as a liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and firm leadership, contributing to the strategic and operational success of the Digital & Technology department.* Support talent management activities, including onboarding, training, and team development.**Portfolio Support:**
* Assist with portfolio management activities, including tracking milestones, supporting documentation, and facilitating communication among project teams and stakeholders.* Lead or support special projects and initiatives assigned by the Chief Digital & Technology Officer.* Independently manage and reconcile operational and capital budgets, including monthly reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Collaborate with Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm policies.* Process, track, and maintain vendor agreements, contracts, and invoices. Negotiate terms, monitor contract performance, and ensure timely renewals and compliance with procurement standards.* Provide high-level administrative support to department leaders, resolve operational issues, and escalate as necessary. Facilitate travel and expense reimbursements for team leaders and support compliance initiatives.* Schedule and coordinate department meetings, and project reviews. Track deadlines, prepare agendas, and draft and circulate accurate meeting minutes.* Create, update, and maintain memos, presentations, spreadsheets, and intranet content related to the D&T function. Ensure version control and secure storage of sensitive information.* Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and support technology adoption within the department.* Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports to inform executive decisions.**Who You Are:*** Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.* At least 5 years prior experience as a department administrator or executive or administrative assistant working in a global professional services environment.* Familiarity with legal industry regulations, IT systems, and professional services operations is highly desirable.* Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and financial reporting in a fast-paced, matrixed, global business.* Experience processing and tracking vendor contracts, agreements, and invoices.* Strong portfolio management skills, including deadline tracking and milestone reporting.* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.Demonstrated ability to independently learn and adopt new technologies to enhance productivity and work product.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with all levels of the firm and external partners with professionalism and discretion.
