Part-Time Marketing & Communications Support Compressed Gas Association (CGA) Location:

Position Overview The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) is seeking detail-oriented and creative Marketing & Communications Support to assist with the execution of day-to-day marketing, content, and communications initiatives. This role will provide tactical support to help CGA promote safety standards, drive event participation, grow member engagement, and elevate CGA’s digital presence.

This is a hands-on, part-time position ideal for a marketing generalist with strong writing skills, digital savvy, and experience supporting associations, nonprofits, or technical organizations.

Key Responsibilities Content Development & Execution Draft and edit copy for marketing emails, website pages, social media posts, newsletters, and event promotions. Assist with the production of digital and print marketing materials (flyers, one-pagers, ads, slide decks). Help prepare talking points, press releases, and short articles based on CGA’s standards and events.

Digital Marketing Support Schedule and monitor social media content across platforms (primarily LinkedIn and Twitter). Assist in building and deploying email campaigns via Brevo or similar tools. Track and report on digital engagement metrics (email open rates, social engagement, web traffic).

Website & Content Management Update website content (news posts, event pages, publications). Coordinate minor design or layout adjustments as needed. Support efforts to optimize content for SEO and user experience.

Event Marketing Support Assist with promotional materials and registration campaigns for CGA events, including the Annual Meeting, the Technical Summit, and webinars. Create/update event graphics and social media banners. Support sponsorship outreach for CGA events.

Administrative & Project Support Maintain marketing calendars and campaign trackers. Organize digital assets and content files. Support special projects related to new product launches, advocacy campaigns, and rebranding.

Qualifications 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field. Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and clarity. Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Feathr, Brevo, Canva, social media schedulers, Google Analytics, etc.). Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently. Experience with associations, B2B, technical content, or regulated industries is a plus. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving priorities.
