Sales Coordinator Position Summary
The Sales Coordinator is an entry‑level, high‑exposure role designed for a motivated, detail‑oriented professional who is eager to learn the commercial side of a fast‑paced personal care contract manufacturing business. This role provides hands‑on experience supporting the sales and account management teams while developing a strong foundation in customer relationships, internal coordination, and contract manufacturing workflows. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary support partner to the Sales team. Assist with preparation of customer presentations, proposals, pricing summaries, and sales materials. Coordinate internal follow‑ups related to customer inquiries, samples, and documentation. Track customer requests, action items, and timelines to ensure timely follow‑through. Liaise with internal teams—including R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain—to support customer needs. Help gather information related to product capabilities, lead times, minimums, and manufacturing requirements. Support onboarding of new customers by coordinating documentation and internal workflows. Maintain accurate customer records in CRM system (e.g., ZOHO). Track sales activity, opportunities, and pipeline updates. Assist with basic reporting, dashboards, and sales metrics. Support contract and document management, including NDAs and customer forms. Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and capturing follow‑up items. Identify process gaps and propose improvements to improve sales efficiency. Qualifications & Experience
Strong organizational and time‑management skills. High level of initiative, resourcefulness, and problem‑solving ability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); comfort learning new systems. Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience preferred, but not required). Internship or entry‑level experience in sales, customer service, operations, or manufacturing. Exposure to CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.). Interest in B2B sales, contract manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods. Key Attributes for Success
Curious and eager to learn—asks questions and seeks to understand the “why.” Highly resourceful—figures things out and follows through without needing constant direction. Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Collaborative and professional when working cross‑functionally.
