Local chemical facility (Theodore, AL) is looking for a full-time Machine/Packaging Operator
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE.
THESE ARE ROTATING (12Hr) SHIFT POSITIONS Pay Range: $21.91 - $26.26 Activities would include:- Minimum 1-3 years industrial experience
- Operate heavy equipment including: extensive forklift experience a MUST
- Experience in loading/unloading and packaging of product
- Work around rotating/moving equipment while packaging
- Manually handles various materials.
- Regularly work at heights including off the top of ladders and the top of railcars and bulk truck trailers.
- Routinely climb ladders and stairs to perform various tasks.
- Familiarity with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
- Be able to respond quickly to identify and correct quality issues.
- Be able to maneuver and work in confined spaces to clean out and prep equipment and perform basic maintenance functions.
