Hartford Homes is seeking a driven, people-focused
Community Sales Manager
to lead the homebuyer experience from first visit to contract. This role is ideal for a relationship-builder with a passion for new home sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to guide buyers confidently through the construction and purchasing process.
As a Community Sales Manager, you will manage the sales office, represent the Hartford Homes brand, and work closely with construction, lenders, and realtors to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective homebuyers, delivering an engaging and professional sales experience
Manage the community sales office, model homes, inventory presentation, signage, and marketing materials
Generate and convert sales traffic while achieving individual and company sales goals
Conduct discovery conversations to understand buyer needs and match them with the right home, homesite, and lifestyle
Demonstrate model homes and homesites, tying features to benefits and creating value
Maintain accurate records in the CRM and lead database
Partner closely with construction teams, including weekly sales/construction meetings and punch‑list follow‑up
Guide buyers through the option selection process and ensure accurate, complete documentation
Introduce buyers to preferred lenders and confidently discuss financing options and qualifying ratios
Build and maintain strong relationships with the local realtor community
Stay informed on competitor offerings, market trends, and neighborhood amenities
Continuously look for ways to improve processes, efficiency, and customer service
Qualifications
3+ years of residential sales experience
New home sales experience strongly preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
Proven ability to multitask and work independently
High level of professionalism, integrity, and initiative
Willingness to learn and follow a proven sales process
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and engage with customers for extended periods
Occasional lifting of materials up to 20 lbs.
