As a Product Designer on Amazon Music, you will help define and build customer‑facing experiences from discovery and research to concept development and product launches. This role partners with the Marketing and Growth team, producing wireframes, user flows, high‑fidelity mocks, and design specifications across platforms. You will collaborate cross‑functionally with Product Managers, Researchers, Engineers, Program Managers, and other UX and visual designers to translate high‑level requirements into immersive customer experiences and identify opportunities to incorporate best current thinking into product designs.
Key responsibilities
Lead UX design for projects across platforms that touch the Amazon Music experience. Run the full experience design process—discovery, research, concept development, wireframes, and high‑fidelity mocks—with a focus on customer mindsets and complex interaction solutions. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to gather relevant information and guide design direction. Iterate rapidly on multiple design explorations to arrive at simple, robust solutions accommodating complex requirements. Validate designs through research and testing and envision new experiences for future features. Stay current on emerging UX and digital behavior trends, music and design innovations, and broader technological shifts. Present work to stakeholders—including executives, engineers, product managers, business leaders, researchers, and other designers. About the team

5+ years of design experience. 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX or interaction designer. Available online portfolio. Experience with Figma and other prototyping tools. Preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in design, human‑computer interaction (HCI), or related field. Experience working in a collaborative team and directly with developers for design implementation. Knowledge of usability principles and techniques. Experience acquiring user data (e.g., usability studies, user research) and creating personas and journey maps. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to present design concepts persuasively to colleagues and stakeholders. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, sometimes ambiguous environment with a bias for action. Relentless desire for innovation balanced with business needs and customer expectations.
