At USERC, the Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative plays a distinctive role. In addition to the typical responsibilities of a CSR, this individual supports the NJ Senior Relationship Manager by coordinating special projects, preparing quotes, and following up as needed. They may also visit clients independently or alongside the NJ Senior Relationship Manager.

Essential CSR Responsibilities

Respond to incoming calls and communicate with clients and associates regarding inquiries, orders, and when necessary, direct calls to the appropriate department.

Accurately enter and print new orders, processing modifications including cancellations, additions, subtractions, transfers, and rental terminations as required.

Input order details into the company's operating software—Alert IMS.

Relay essential information to technical, sales, purchasing, and delivery/shipping teams using suitable communication methods, including in‑person meetings, internal phone calls, email, or video conferencing.

Conduct follow‑up communications with clients to provide updates or request documents, order confirmations, quotations, or other necessary information.

Coordinate the inter‑office transfer of equipment.

Support inventory and accounting personnel to ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions.

Perform all assigned tasks diligently and professionally as directed.

Essential ISR Responsibilities

Respond to client emails and calls for the NJ Sales Rep.

Prepare quotes for rentals and product sales for the NJ Sales Rep.

Place purchase orders, arrange delivery, and send contracts for billing.

Organize marketing initiatives like giveaways, trainings, and luncheons.

Pursue and develop leads.

Gather customer feedback.

Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Experience, Skills & Abilities

Experience in customer service or sales

Knowledge of environmental sciences

Familiarity with environmental equipment

Interest in, or willingness to learn about, environmental technology and its applications
