SEO Specialist – Multifamily Marketing We are seeking an

SEO Specialist / Strategist

to support our multifamily portfolio through data-driven, technically sound, and content-forward SEO strategies. This role will focus on improving organic visibility and performance for property and corporate websites, partnering closely with Digital Marketing, Marketing, and Operations teams to support leasing and brand objectives.

The ideal candidate understands SEO from both a strategic and executional lens, with hands‑on experience across on-page optimization, technical SEO, schema, and local search for multi-location businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute SEO strategies to support multifamily property websites and corporate digital initiatives

Conduct keyword research and mapping aligned to leasing, location‑based, and brand goals

Optimize on‑page elements including metadata, headers, internal linking, and content structure

Implement and maintain schema markup (LocalBusiness, ApartmentComplex, FAQ, Review, etc.) to enhance search visibility and rich results

Technical SEO

Partner with Digital Marketing and web teams to identify and resolve technical SEO issues

Support site audits related to crawlability, indexing, page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and site architecture

Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to redirects, broken links, duplicate content, and site migrations

Local SEO & Listings

Optimize local SEO performance for individual properties across Google Business Profiles and other key platforms

Ensure NAP consistency, review visibility, and location‑based ranking improvements

Support localized content and landing page strategies for property‑level performance

Collaborate with content, brand, and property marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into new and existing content

Provide SEO guidance for blogs, landing pages, property descriptions, and community pages

Support new development, lease‑up, and repositioning efforts from an SEO perspective

Reporting & Optimization

Track and report on SEO performance including rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and visibility trends

Analyze performance data to identify optimization opportunities and inform strategy adjustments

Stay current on algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and emerging trends

Qualifications:

2–3 years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably in multifamily, real estate, multi‑location, or agency environments

Strong understanding of technical SEO, on‑page optimization, schema, and local SEO

Experience using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms

Working knowledge of CMS platforms and website structures

Ability to translate SEO insights into clear recommendations for cross‑functional teams

Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills

Preferred Experience:

Experience supporting multifamily or multi‑property portfolios

Familiarity with lease‑up and new development SEO strategies

Basic understanding of HTML, structured data, and website performance metrics

Experience collaborating with digital marketing, paid media, or web development teams
