JR5028STV’s Kentucky operation is seeking to immediately hire a **Survey Party Chief** for our **Glasgow, KY location**.
This position entails leading a two- or three-person surveyor field crew to accurately and efficiently perform field surveysin support of land development, transportation, utility, energy, and landsurveying projects using conventional, GPS, or terrestrial laser scanning methodology.**Requirements**:* 2 plus years of experience as a Party Chief required* Must have familiarity with ALTA or Land Title Surveys – must understand how to locate improvements on land and finding property corners, including interpreting deed maps and plats* Experience with Topographic Surveys – must be able to interpret and locate elevation changes on the land, identifying specific utilities needed, identifying tree types,and understanding what the civil engineer will need in their design build* Experience with Construction Staking – must understand the flow of construction and the staking layout of offsets.
