About the Job As a Deal Strategist, you will collaborate closely with startup CEOs to raise capital for private market deals online. You will take ownership of the strategy, operations, and marketing for each deal, from crafting investment narratives and decks to managing fundraising pipelines and funnels. Just as public companies raise funds from retail investors online, you’ll simplify the process for private companies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct customer calls with CEOs/founders and their teams.
Manage strategic partnerships with investor networks, platforms, and tools.
Utilize data‑driven insights to oversee campaign performance analysis and reporting.
Craft compelling investor narratives and write persuasive copy for investor assets.
Manage the production of fundraising materials including investor decks, market research reports, press releases, media plans, pitches, webinar and video materials, and investor updates.
Lead deal team operations, from delivery to execution, and manage deliverables in Asana.
Oversee customer communications via email and Slack.
Develop and execute a multi‑channel, integrated marketing plan to reach potential investors.
Manage investor pipeline and funnel efficacy, tracking leads from qualification to conversion.
Implement scalable internal systems and tools to enhance fundraising outcomes.
Required Qualifications
5‑7 years of relevant experience in raising or deploying capital for startups.
Effective communicators who are clear, responsive, and diligent.
Accomplished, curious, and creative operators with a demonstrated ability to thrive in startups.
Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Desire to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Strong record of academic and/or professional or personal achievement.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Asana, Zoom, Slack, CRM tools, and email service providers (Klaviyo preferred).
Bonus Experience
MBA or other related degrees.
Experience as a startup founder is a plus!
Background in finance or the financial sector.
Storytelling and experience writing marketing communications.
