Structural Designer/BIM
Location: Boise, ID
Ficcadenti Waggoner and Castle Structural Engineers (FWC) is seeking a detail oriented project drafter to join our talented team in our Boise, ID office. Applicants must have 1-5 years of experience in structural modeling; be proficient in Revit Structure and BIM; MWF (metal wood framing program) experience helpful; must be technically competent in all aspects of structural drafting; and be able to successfully coordinate with other disciplines to check completeness and quality of structural drawings. The ideal candidate would be highly self-motivated, works well with others; has the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines; and demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills.
The job responsibilities include: produce structural drawings of various types of buildings using Revit Structure. He/she must also be able to manage structural modeling of moderately complex projects.
Some of the types of work FWC is involved with include parking structures, theaters, theme park structures, pre-fabricated curtain wall systems, multi-family residential buildings, hotels, seismic retrofits, and commercial and retail buildings. FWC is a medium-sized structural engineering firm with offices in Irvine and Concord, CA; Henderson, NV; Charlotte, NC and Boise, ID. FWC offers the following benefits and pay:
1. Base Salary: Negotiable.
2. Overtime: 1.5 times base rate
3. Bonuses: Semi-annual
4. Profit Sharing for all employees: 7.5% of total gross compensation; 100% employer paid
5. Medical and dental: 100% employer paid
6. 401K program
7. Selected employee seminars or professional organizations: 100% paid
8. Annual retreat (Recent retreats have been at various winter or summer resorts): 100% paid
