- Hours: 8 hours per day
The Video Studio Production Specialist will support studio production activities under the direction of the Video Studio Lead. This role involves hands-on responsibility for video production, motion design, editing, and multimedia asset creation for education products and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate studio lighting, audio, cameras, and teleprompter equipment
- Assist in directing on-screen talent during studio recordings
- Produce graphics, motion design elements, simulations, and multimedia assets (audio/video)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, create storyboards, and design animations
- Apply creativity and storytelling techniques to convey information visually
- Create voiceovers when required
- Edit and assemble learning assets including:
- Screen recordings
- Photos and camera footage
- Dialogue, sound effects, graphics, animations, and special effects
- Ensure videos are edited to appropriate length and aligned with the correct topic and learning objectives
- Follow and maintain video development guidelines, templates, style guides, and quality standards
- Support same-day edits and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Assist Video Studio Lead and Creative Manager in delivering publish-ready assets
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Computer Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Film, Photography, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Videographer, Video Editor, Producer, or Motion Designer
- Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially:
- Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Audition
- Photoshop
- Experience with Camtasia or similar tools
- Illustrator proficiency is a plus
- Knowledge of:
- Color grading
- Chroma keying
- Frame rates and video formats
- Mixing interlaced and progressive footage
- Hands-on experience with modern video production equipment (cameras, lights, microphones)
- Experience producing education, training, or tutorial videos
- Strong sense of pace, timing, and visual storytelling
- Ability to deliver same-day edits
- Strong problem-solving skills in video production
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
