Communications Specialist
We're seeking a communications specialist to support ongoing initiatives on a contract basis. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with experience in social media, content creation, and digital communication tools. Responsibilities include creating and publishing organic social media content, writing and designing monthly newsletters in constant contact, updating website and blog content in WordPress, designing visuals in Canva and scheduling campaigns in Hootsuite, and supporting broader communication projects as directed.
Requirements include experience in communications, marketing, or digital content, excellent writing and storytelling skills, strong project management and attention to detail, familiarity with WordPress, Canva, Hootsuite, and constant contact, and experience with nonprofits or regional organizations is a plus.
