Director Of It Sales & Marketing

The Director of IT Sales & Marketing will lead technology strategy and execution for sales and marketing systems within the healthcare sector focused on post-acute care. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership skills to ensure Salesforce.com platforms (Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud) are optimized to drive business growth, improve customer engagement, and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities include:

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Developing and executing IT strategies that align with organizational sales and marketing goals.

Partnering with leadership to identify opportunities that enhance sales performance and marketing effectiveness.

Overseeing configuration, customization, and maintenance of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

Ensuring system integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, etc.).

Managing integrations between Salesforce, other enterprise systems (email, master data management, analytics tools) and external data sources (CMS, Pharmacy) to support sales and marketing initiatives.

Establishing and enforcing data standards across multiple Salesforce orgs to enable accurate and consistent customer information.

Leading initiatives for data deduplication, normalization, and enrichment to support cross-business-unit visibility and cross-selling opportunities.

Developing a support strategy for Salesforce administration and development.

Driving project delivery for new features, enhancements, and system upgrades.

Establishing best practices for change management, testing, and deployment.

Leveraging data analytics to provide actionable insights for leadership and field teams.

Qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, or related field (master's preferred). 5+ years in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years' experience within the Salesforce platforms. Proven experience in healthcare sales and marketing technology, preferably in post-acute care. Recent experience supporting a large multi-business company, with proven ability to influence leaders and key stakeholders. Proven experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and consolidate customer records across multiple Salesforce environments. History of successfully cultivating and maintaining good relationships at all levels within the organization. Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and data privacy requirements. Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud configuration and administration. Expertise with API integration and developing data standards. Knowledge of marketing automation, lead management, and campaign analytics. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
