Experienced Construction Laborer – Wet Utilities
Native Sun is hiring experienced Construction Laborers to support wet utility crews installing and repairing underground water, sewers, and storm systems on heavy civil projects. This role is for skilled workers with underground utilities experience who want steady work and a path toward lead or operator roles.
Location Grand Junction
Starting Pay Range $22–$30 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
Install and assist with underground wet utilities (water, sewer, storm) to line and grade.
Perform trench work, pipe laying, setting structures, backfilling, and compaction with the crew.
Work safely around heavy equipment and in/around trenches and excavations in all weather.
Use hand tools, small equipment, and basic layout tools (lasers/levels) to support production.
What We’re Looking For
Proven wet or underground utilities field experience on heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
Experience working around heavy equipment; operating experience (excavator, skid steer, loader) is a strong plus.
Ability to work outdoors all day, lift 50+lbs, and follow trench and jobsitesafety rules.
Reliable, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude; willing to work overtime as needed.
