Reports To: Branch Manager

We are a division of Ergon Construction Group, Inc. which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ergon, Inc. Our services include specialty trades (insulation, fireproofing, painting/coatings, scaffolding & heat tracing) in addition to our mechanical capabilities.
Position Overview The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships while driving profitable growth by coordinating commercial sales, estimating, and project execution activities-ensuring safe, high-quality delivery of access solutions and construction services that meet customer needs and support ISO Services operational and financial goals. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: identifying potential new customers, developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, and securing new bid opportunities with both new and existing customers. The Commercial Account Manager is a results-driven, problem solving, strategic business partner who best represents ISO Services by understanding the needs of the customer and implementing strategies to exceed their expectations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships; manage assigned territory to maximize rentals, sales, and service opportunities
Promote and articulate ISO Services capabilities, company history, and value proposition; represent the company professionally
Estimate and propose commercial/industrial work including scaffold/access solutions; prepare bids, pricing, and project proposals
Coordinate project planning and execution from start to finish (job walks, schedules, staffing/resource planning, subcontractor coordination)
Maintain open communications with Branch Manager, Customer Service, E&D Managers, Operations and Safety regarding availability, pricing, execution readiness and safety concerns
Attend job walks, site visits, safety/plant meetings; ensure compliance with safety codes, local/state regulations, and customer requirements
Maintain required reporting and documentation (weekly/daily sales logs, call reports, estimating documentation, project updates, expense reporting)
Present and articulate ISO Services capabilities, company history and our value proposition. Keep the ISO Services organization in a positive light.
Other tasks as directed by the Branch Manager.
Applicable Experience & Competencies
Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field.)
Preferred Experience: At least 7-10 yrs. in the soft craft industry with strong contacts in the Industrial Construction, Petrochemical and Commercial industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. To avoid misinterpretation, written communication (instructions, descriptions, drawings, specifications) is the preferred method.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work independently.
Time management skills are needed to meet deadlines. Each part of the construction project must be done at a certain time so that everything runs smoothly
Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Sage 100, Primavera)
Willing to travel (up to 25%, mostly in the territory)
Candidate must be physically able to climb ladders and stairs, and other activities related to job walks, safety related training, etc.
Key Performance Indicators
Territory/portfolio revenue growth (rentals + services)
Bid/proposal win rate and estimating accuracy
Profitability (gross margin) on sold/managed projects
Customer retention/repeat business and customer satisfaction
Timeliness/quality of sales logs, call reports, and documentation
Project execution success (on-time completion, within budget, minimal rework)
Safety performance and compliance with ISO/customer safety expectations
