As a Machinist - Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our machining processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards, while optimizing production schedules. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations to increase savings and better serve our customers.
In this role, you will impact the overall production quality and efficiency by utilizing your expertise in machining processes, contributing to the successful delivery of high‑quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities
Mentor and support junior machinists, providing guidance on setup, troubleshooting, and best practices.
Lead setup, troubleshooting and operation of CNC machines (CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, and CNC Millturn) for high‑precision aerospace components.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining processes.
Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain product standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, tools, and equipment to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE
Significant experience in machining processes and operations.
Proficiency in operating CNC machines and other advanced machining tools.
Expertise in precision engineering and quality control methods.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and technical specifications.
Experience with CAD software for design and modifications.

Technical degree or certification in machining.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Exposure to Wire EDM and Studer Grinders.
Use of documentation using Word, Excel, SAP or equivalent systems.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
