Packaging Operator
The Packaging Operator is responsible for operating vial filling machines, fabrication machines, and secondary packaging equipment including labels and semi-automatic packaging equipment. This role involves the cleaning and setting up of manufacturing/packaging equipment, ensuring calibration stickers are current, and maintaining accurate records in logbooks and batch records. The Packaging Operator also palletizes completed work for transport to the warehouse and logs downtime accurately. Responsibilities
Operate vial filling machines, fabrication machines, and secondary packaging equipment. Clean and set up manufacturing and packaging equipment. Ensure all calibration stickers are current. Record necessary documentation in logbooks and batch records. Palletize completed work and transport to the warehouse. Complete downtime log accurately and in a timely manner. Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of Pharmaceutical packaging experience. Knowledge of GMP, production, packaging, and labeling processes. Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. Basic mathematics skills. Basic use of tools and equipment. Good manual dexterity and visual acuity. Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent. Ability to stand for the majority of the day. Ability to lift or move 25-49 pounds. Capability to gown for manufacturing. Meet established scrap rate goals. Communicate effectively with IPC Operator and others regarding quality, components, and machine performance. Knowledge of appropriate SOPs and their practical application. Why Work Here?

The position operates on the 1st shift from 6:15 AM to 2:30 PM. Training is provided on the shift hired for, except for the first day which includes GMP/Safety Training from 7:45 AM to 3 PM. The work environment is a cleanroom setting that requires adherence to safety protocols and proper gowning procedures. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caldwell, NJ. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
