Packaging And Sales Graphics Designer

Established in 2017, tru fru rapidly ascended the "permissible indulgence" space as a Utah-based company selling one-of-a-kind "better for you" hyper-chilled and hyper-dried real fruit immersed in premium chocolate to retail outlets nationwide. Winning most innovative new product in 2019 and 2022 in the sweets and snacks categories and climbing the fruit-based snack industry chart at an astounding growth rate, tru fru joined the Mars family of brands in February 2023. We are on a mission to build a legacy with truly remarkable people who can create something special for generations to come!

  • Prepare, release, and manage print- and production-ready files, ensuring adherence to timelines, technical specifications, quality standards, and printer requirements.

  • Adapt master artwork for size variations, multi-sku systems, and retailer-specific requirements.
  • Manage packaging partner and agency relationships to ensure smooth handoffs, version control, and execution.
  • Adapt and extend agency-developed creative into production-ready and retailer-specific files.
  • Maintain and evolve the master brand design system, ensuring consistent application of typography, color, photography, and brand architecture across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with other designers to uphold brand standards and visual consistency.
  • Create sales enablement assets-including sell-in decks, sell sheets, planogram mockups, displays, shippers, and retailer presentation materials-to support launches and buyer meetings.
  • Maintain organized templates, packaging archives, and content libraries.
  • Implement efficient systems for versioning, naming conventions, file structure, and cross-team asset access.

What you'll bring to tru fru:

  • Comfort collaborating with diverse partners (rom sales to randd to external printers).
  • Ownership mentality and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • 5-7+ years' experience in packaging design, production art, or cpg graphics.
  • Expertise in adobe illustrator, photoshop, and indesign.
  • Experience preparing mechanicals, working with dyelines, and managing printer feedback.
