Job Overview
Marketing Coordinator – Non‑Hub Markets. Responsible for developing and executing local marketing initiatives aligned with national objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop market tactics aligning with area initiatives.
Support the Area Marketing Manager in day‑to‑day activities.
Design, create, and execute marketing plays while managing spend on events, meetings, sponsorships, and incentives.
Organize and expedite marketing and sales activities, disseminating market‑specific information quickly and accurately.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (VP Sales, Specialists, Chefs, and Merchandising) to deliver brand awareness and strengthen market share.
Oversee local market activities, including meetings, department activities, and conferences for attendees from multiple locations.
Use market trend and consumer behavior insights to strengthen campaign execution.
Act as the primary communicator between non‑hub and hub markets, ensuring timely and consistent correspondence.
Manage brand guidelines to maintain consistency.
Communicate with vendors and brokers to ensure compliance and manage seller training opportunities.
Interact with customers and vendors on local market activities; plan, onsite execute, and follow up on events.
Leverage social media channels and digital marketing platforms to expand local market footprint.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum 3 years of related office experience.
Ability to work under limited supervision.
Knowledge of office administrative procedures and standard office equipment.
Excellent prioritization and time‑management skills.
Sound understanding of marketing principles.
Ability to build and maintain excellent working partnerships with internal and external resources.
Proficient communication skills.
Experience using content management and online marketing systems.
Self‑directed and highly motivated.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe InDesign.
Advanced internet aptitude strongly desired.
Compensation and Benefits
Base rate: $25–$27 per hour. Salary will vary based on relevant experience, education, skills, geolocation, and applicable law. Payment is weekly.
