ABCLC Communication and Marketing Specialist - Year 2 VISTA Join to apply for the ABCLC Communication and Marketing Specialist - Year 2 VISTA role at AmeriCorps . This project will break the cycle of poverty by providing accessible learning programming to families whose children lack necessary educational support. AB Christian Learning Center, in partnership with Read Fort Worth, ensures that all children are ready to learn at kindergarten entry and reading on grade level by third grade. This VISTA project expands services to at‑risk communities, aiming to increase the number of economically disadvantaged families transitioning from poverty to self‑sufficiency. Responsibilities Develop the best practices and methods to communicate to vulnerable communities about programs, resources, and opportunities available to help families transition out of poverty. Develop and refine ABCLC’s communication policies and procedures, improving the organization’s communication. Improve the marketing of resource information and opportunities. Review and evaluate policies for best practices for email, phone, and internet communications. Develop a schedule/calendar for social media posts, templates for staff, and refine the organization’s monthly newsletter template.
