Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional to play a critical role in securing America’s borders while protecting national security. As a Border Patrol Agent , you will be responsible for helping protect American citizens by questioning individuals and inspecting documents & property, apprehending undocumented individuals or smugglers using covert surveillance and infrared scopes, tracking signs of illegal entry, performing checks at farms, traffic stops, buildings, cities and transportation hubs.
You will conduct thorough searches of detained persons/vehicles/surroundings including the use of firearms/report writing/evidence gathering; lead fraud investigations/apprehend violators with surveillance technology; perform farm/traffic/building/city/checks/patrolling areas using vehicles/horses etc.
This position requires strong analytical skills as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. You must be able to work effectively in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions quickly.
