As a Marketo operations lead, you will provide the strategic insight necessary to build multi-step, "always-on" nurture journeys. You will demonstrate a strong command of the Marketo product, acting as a positive force for adoption and helping our organization drive meaningful impact through sophisticated automation and personalization.In this role, you will work closely with a mentor for the first six months to learn internal processes and "rules of the road" before transitioning into more autonomous work. This position offers a unique long-term opportunity to grow your capabilities across the entire martech stack, including Adobe Experience Platform (CDP), CJA, and Web SDK.Core Responsibilities:Campaign Execution: Partner with Digital Marketing to translate documented journeys into executable programs in Marketo, with an emphasis on complex orchestration.Orchestration & Testing: Facilitate cross-journey decision-making and conduct rigorous QA and A/B testing on creative and copy.Optimization & Reporting: Regularly report on program performance and manage lead scoring efforts to improve marketing and sales alignment.Enablement: Host "office hours" and training sessions to upskill the marketing crew on best practices and new Marketo capabilities.Data Stewardship: Manage the contact database, maintain segmentations, uphold data hygiene, and optimize email deliverability.Integration: Engage with various technology integrations, including CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and webinar platforms.Responsibilities:Platform & Journey Execution: Serve as the hands-on operations lead to build, execute, and rigorously optimize complex marketing programs and campaigns in Marketo, with a core emphasis on sophisticated journey building and orchestration.Automation Strategy: Partner with the Digital Marketing team to translate documented marketing journeys and campaigns into high-performing, executable automation programs within Marketo.System Orchestration: Manage the orchestration of Marketo journeys and campaigns across diverse audience segments, proactively identifying and facilitating cross-journey/campaign efficiency opportunities.Quality Assurance & Testing: Develop and enforce stringent testing and QA practices, ensuring all operational activities, creative, and copy testing are performed with the highest degree of quality and accuracy.Data & Deliverability: Assist with the management of the contact database, including list uploads, segmentation maintenance, upholding strict data hygiene standards, and optimizing email deliverability.Technology Integration: Engage in the management and maintenance of various Marketo technology integrations, including CRM (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), webinar platforms, and data enhancement tools.Adoption & Enablement: Facilitate the adoption and utilization of Marketo across the marketing team by providing structured training, office hours, and upskilling on best practices, guidelines, and new capabilities.Reporting: Regularly build and distribute reports on the performance of Marketo programs, campaigns, emails, and lead scoring efforts. Qualifications:Certification: Marketo Certification is required for this role.Experience: Minimum 3 years of digital marketing experience, with a strong preference for B2B backgrounds.Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Marketo, including smart lists, programs vs. campaigns, and drip sequences.Education: Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Soft Skills: Excellent analytical problem-solving, written and oral presentation, and multitasking abilities.Compliance: Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
