At Vision Centric Inc., we’re seeking an experienced Contract Specialist who thrives on managing complex acquisitions from start to finish and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. You’ll be at the center of federal procurement, managing every stage of the acquisition process—from planning and solicitation to award and administration. Your expertise will help ensure fair competition, regulatory compliance, and mission success.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with

acquisition planning , including developing acquisition plans and milestone schedules.

Support

pre-award conferences , IPT participation, and requirement refinement.

Conduct

market research

(e.g., RFIs, DRFPs, Industry Days).

Prepare and review procurement packages, including SOWs, PWSs, IGCEs, evaluation factors, and pre-award determinations.

Recommend acquisition strategies and contract types.

Draft JOFOCs, Determinations & Findings, and pre-award synopses.

Present acquisition documentation for higher-level reviews and approvals.

Maintain contract files and documentation in compliance with laws and regulations.

Use applicable acquisition systems and attend onsite meetings at ICE facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university.

OR Seven (7) years of federal contracting experience plus 24 hours of accredited college business credits.

Experience

Minimum 7 years in contracting positions providing cradle-to-grave support for federal agencies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government contract-writing software (e.g., PRISM).

Familiarity with federal databases (FPDS, SAM.gov).

Strong understanding of FAR Parts 8, 12, 13, 15, and 16.

Experience with multi-agency contract vehicles (GSA MAS, OASIS+, DHS Strategic Sourcing).

Ability to prepare acquisition documents and obtain necessary clearances.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and organizational abilities.

Preferred

Experience with law enforcement or IT hardware/software contracts.

Managing procurement-sensitive or law enforcement-sensitive information.

Work Arrangement

On-site

position.
